“Post Office GDS Recruitment 2023 requires candidates to have a Secondary School Examination Pass certificate (10th class) from a recognized board of School education under the Government of India, with mathematics and English as mandatory subjects. The age limit for applicants is set between 18 to 40 years as of 16th February 2023. Desirable qualifications include computer knowledge, cycling skills, and an understanding of adequate means of livelihood. While mathematics and English are prerequisites, candidates from reserved categories should refer to official guidelines for potential age relaxation. Though computer knowledge isn’t mandatory, it’s advantageous. As for proving cycling proficiency and comprehending ‘adequate means of livelihood,’ further guidance is advised from the official notification. The age calculation is based on the candidate’s age as of the specified date.”

“Age relaxations are granted in Post Office GDS Recruitment 2023 based on specific categories. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates receive a relaxation of 5 years, while Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates enjoy a 3-year relaxation.
